there's gold in them there hills

Once again, I don't know where the titles come from, they just come to me in these odd moments of vison.
So, I'm leaving for St. Louis tomorrow, headed to the NCAA Championships! Am I packed? NO. Have I even thought about it? NO. Do I have the tickets? YES. My procrastination is a finely tuned art form now. You'll study about it in museums 100 years after I die.
Today is the drop dead day for finishing up our super duper secret online web-based project (seems like everyone has one of those lately, eh?). I've got several intro screens to write and have to finish up: the privacy policy, the known issues, the registration process and possibly the demo. Man! I was hoping to not have to use my brain today.
Don really hit it on the head with this comment: "Weblogs may be taking over. (And I am as much to blame as anybody.) But the art of personal narrative is the first, best gift of the web." Have you seen his new personal narrative (and recently revealed super duper secret project) site? You must.
I got hate mail the other day! How exciting! I hadn't received any hate mail in weeks! Heather went into grave detail about what a loser I am as she was spending her Saturday night on her Linux box reading my personal web site. Something about that just doesn't make sense to me. She called me a peon and a lot worse! She also complimented me on my ass (well, the subject of her e-mail was "What an ass")! I think it's probably one of those situations where you really like someone but instead of telling them you like them you instead act like they're all yucky. Hehehe. Probably not!
If you haven't watched Pulp Fiction lately like I have you're probably missing out on some of those cool quotes you've forgotten about. "I don't know if it was worth five dollars, but it was pretty fu*#ing good!"
For the record, I've recently written about some personal things on here that have been happening between myself and a lovely young woman. In my ignorance, I forgot to ask her if it was okay for me to write about her and these things. This was completely ignorant on my part and I apologize sincerely to her. Some people are more closed off than others and by God that's their prerogative and I totally respect that. I hope she can forgive me for my stupidity.
