In case you were wondering "Why has John's web site sucked for the last 18 months?" as I know many of you have, it is of course because I've been working on my graduate studies. Naturally some things had to suffer in the process: my website, my waistline, my sleep patterns, my free time. You get the picture. Here's the details on what's been keeping me busy:

So as you can see, I only have two classes left to take and then I graduate on May 18 and I'm done and I'll be JohnEklund.MBA. It's been an utterly exhausting process, but worth it despite the adverse side effects.
Also worth noting, in regards to the waistline, is that I've started a diet today. I'm doing Slim-Fast and I've got to say I'm painfully hungry right now. Even after my sensible dinner. But, if my weight comes down from it's record high of 160 (shooting for 140) then all will be worthwhile.
Also also worth noting, "John Q" is a good movie. So is "I Am Sam." Sean Penn did an absolutely amazing job in his role. He should be getting an Oscar or a Grammy or an Emmy or an Addy or some kind of award for it.
Now that we're caught up on my last 18 months, tell me, how were your last 18 months?
