stimulus response loop

Seeing as how we've gone through several moon phases since I last updated I figured it might be time.
The NCAA Wrestling Championships were incredible! I didn't get to see them live (hopefully the next two years for that) but I got to see Cael Sanderson make history and that was incredible. Not as incredible as when Pat Smith did it back in 1994, but still pretty incredible, especially considering he never lost a match. Still though, I think Cael had some thunder stolen from him because the 184 pound match before his was one of the best matches I've ever seen in my life. Rob Rohn (from Lehigh) was down by 12 points to the boy from Oklahoma (people who get second never have names, just schools) and came back to pin him and win the national championship. It was amazing!
Entering week 5 of my Slim-Fast diet and I'm down 9 pounds to 152 pounds. 12 more pounds to go and I'll be content. And mighty hungry.
School is going as well as could be expected. My two classes are keeping me pretty well occupied, but I'll be graduating in about a month and a half. I think I can I think I can. Speaking of graduating, my significant other is also graduating in just about a month with her degree in Psychology. We shall be a highly educated couple!
Not too much else has been going on, except that Ani has grown up enough to not live in her box during the day anymore. That's a big step for a small puppy.
I'm working diligently so I can remain in a constant state of tiredness. I'm happy to say it's working, I'm dragging ass practically all day long now! After school's over there will be relaxation a plenty. Oh yeah.
I've hired a lawn company, cleverly named Lawn-Gevity (oh how very clever), to come out and whip my yard back into shape. "Make it green and not so weedy" were my explicit instructions. They're working on it. I think. At the very least they've stuck a little sign in my yard that has their name and number on it. Unfortunately they don't maintain the yard, they just spray it, so up until Friday their little sign was obscured by clovers. That can't be good for business.
