is that a list in my pocket?
04-05-02
Things to do this weekend:
- Quit updating my web site and start doing the other things on this list
- Read chapters 6, 7 and 8 in MGMT 595
- Read chapters 7 and 8 in MGMT 447
- Finish The Glen's web site updates
- Mow the back yard and maybe the front yard
- Study my ass off for my midterms that are on Monday and Tuesday
- Celebrate with my girlfriend (more on that in a minute)
- Work on Online Identity Crisis paper for publication
- Address graduation envelopes
- Print out invoices for Inexplicable Productions
- Decide whether or not website is one word or two
- Start writing MGMT 447 paper on employment law
- Work on strategic management paper for Sci-Port Discovery Center
- Resist the urge to sleep late so I can do all of the above, despite the fact that I am in desperate need of sleep
So yeah, I'm not doing much this weekend.
Soooo, I'm going to do something I don't often do on this website. I'm going to write about my beautiful and talented girlfriend.
In the past week she has:
So you know the sheer magnitude of this I offer you two snippets of info from UNCC and UCD's web sites:
- Admission [at UNCC] is very competitive. Only about 10 students in each program are admitted each fall.
- The I/O program at CU-Denver is recognized as one of the best in the nation. We admit approximately six to eight students per year.
So as you can see, I am the proudest boyfriend in the world right now. In addition to being the happiest person in the world for her, I also feel quite lucky that I'm dating such a brilliant woman. And damn if she's not gorgeous too.
It's worth noting that we're going to be one highly educated couple!
Also: my dog ate my textbook. I'm not shitting you. She ate my $100 Personnel Law book. So that business I wrote last time about me being proud of her and her being grown up and one small step for a puppy and not living in her little box anymore when I'm gone? Yeah. Forget that. Despite all her rage she's still just a rat in a cage.
Also also: I'm graduating soon. Love me.
