a gentle warming sensation
12-03-02
I'm showering, washing my face with my Biore warming deep pore cleanser and I've got my eyes closed as I scrub it in and I realize all off a sudden that this warm tingling sensation that marketing folk have taught us to mean that it's working is not natural. Your skin feels warm when something warm is next to it, like a fireplace, not when you put this gel out of a bottle on it. This must mean that the warm sensation is some sort of chemical reaction between my outer layer of derma and this stuff, which mildly disturbs me. So now I use the Biore mild daily cleansing scrub, and even though it doesn't warm the skin with a harsh chemical reaction, which is in essence the only way I can know that it is in fact working, at least I have a little peace of mind that my face isn't going to fall off.
On an unrelated note, brain scans are not cheap.
Also, I'm eating a lot of pudding lately.
Also, guess where I ate when I was in Chicago very recently:

P.S. A "Bobblin' Harry" bobble head doll now adorns my mantle. Holy Cow!
