licking glue
02-13-03
Did you ever notice that the glue on the envelopes from an actual Hallmark store tastes a lot better than the glue on the envelopes from say a supermarket, even if it's the same card?
The bad news is my cholesterol is high. 250. The really bad news is my triglycerides were really high, like setting all-time records for highness. 484. According to the data I'm either almost dead or already dead, though I feel pretty good. The *good* news is this was the only negative thing to report from my first physical.

This is rapidly becoming one of my favorite pics. Me and Erin at the Saints/Panthers football game on November 10, 2002. Pre-game tailgating with the Charlotte Uptown (like a downtown but uppier) skyline in the background.

Ani, enjoying our 7 inches of snow. Yes, she is wearing a sweater.
One of the pluses (or minuses) of living in Charlotte vis-a-vis living in Louisiana is not only the mere fact that there are now four distinct seasons instead of one (or two if you count hot and not-as-hot as seasons) but the fact that we've gotten snow twice this winter. Plus ice once, but we got that back home too. Erin and I had a lovely snowball fight culminating in me sliding face first down a hill. Fun stuff!
I was trying to hold fast to my New Year's Resolution of "No New Updates" but alas, I could only hold out for a month and thirteen days.
Terry Tate has been cracking me up lately.
I've got my PlayStation 2 hooked up to the Internet and now I'm getting my ass kicked in Madden 2003 by 9 year olds. The best (and by best I mean the suckiest) part is if I'm winning a game they quit before the end of the game. It is pretty cool that stand alone video games are getting to where computer video games were just a mere 5 years ago.
Speaking of which, since the addition of the PS2 online at my house, I now have more wire running under the carpet than should be allowed by law.
I launched a new photography web site for my friend Melissa - bonus points if you can find an almost naked picture of my best friend there (which, by the way, is an image I'm trying really hard to forget). I also launched a new web site for the company I work for, double bonus points if you can find it.
