You know you're home for the holidays when:

  • It's 3 days before Christmas and it's 70 degrees outside.
  • You notice that SOME of the trees are starting to show their fall colors, which is good, considering that it's the end of December and all.
  • You notice that most trees are still a vibrant and hearty green.
  • You can still buy Sno Cones, because the Sno Cone stand is still open. And we all know Sno Cones are a big winter-time treat!
  • You come home on Christmas night, after having eaten more in a span of 3 hours than you had in all of the previous month, and complain that your stomach is going to explode.
  • You really mean it. You think your stomach is going to explode.
  • You start thinking "Wow, this is really no joke. I think it could explode. Perhaps I need medical attention."
