John
Eklund is doing it again. Graduation. This time from Louisiana Tech
University with his MBA. The question is "When does it all
stop?" Actual quotes from actual people:
"It
seems like every 4 years this kid is getting another degree. In
1994 it was high school, in 1998 it was his B.S., and now in 2002
his MBA. Frankly, it's getting a little old. I mean, what's next,
his Ph.D.?"
"After
the first two, I was fine, but again with the graduating? It's
so obvious he only keeps getting degrees because he wants to keep
getting gifts. He's very transparent."
"John's
graduating again? I didn't even realize it was almost May!"
"My
God, didn't we just do this?"
About
the Graduation
On
May 18, 2002, I will walk across that stage again to be handed my
Master of Business Administration (MBA) on a very high quality parchment
paper. The graduation is at the Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston,
LA at 2:00 PM. Maps and driving direction are directly below to
help you figure out how to get there.
It
can get pretty hot in the Thomas Assembly Center so dress comfortably.

Gift
Ideas
If
you choose to send a gift (you're not under any obligation to do
so), your best bet is to pick something from my wish
list at Amazon.com.
Alternatively,
if you don't like to think about gift ideas, you can always send
cash to my P.O. Box:

Eklund
P.O. Box 273
Shreveport, LA 71162-0273
Gifts
aren't required, of course, but they are very appreciated.
The
BBQ Party
Ah,
the real reason for graduation, the party! The party will be at
my house directly after graduation. There will be BBQ, food-a-plenty
and lots of beer. You don't have to RSVP, but an
email to me will definitely help me know how much food to make.
